So these are the highlights of miscellany.

1994-ish: Dreggywibble, n. A self referential onomatopoeic name from the output of the random word generator in my head. There's nothing else quite like it.
2003-ish: Laffyhedral, adj. Possessing a funny side.
Laffydextrous, adj. Skilled in finding the funny side.
2004-06-ish: For some reason, I imagine that if computers were taught to waltz (!) they would be counting in their heads: "0, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2..."
2004-10-21: I was disappointed to find no hits for the phrase "...fallen for HLaS" or "...fallen for it HLaS", meaning of course "hook, line and sinker".
2005-03: Pragnanimous, adj: a great or generous offer made to someone who gives you no other choice.
2005-11: Trancheula, n: an eight-legged monster which sucks out your first slice of funding.
Whorefrost: a cold response caused by insufficient funds.
2006-02-17: Ambisinister, adj: where ambidextrous meets cack-handed.
2006-03-17: Compos mantis, adj: Not only sane in mind, but also fast, sharp and dangerous.
2005-ish?: dragon drop, n: a delivery from the Welsh flying postal service. These usually arrived slightly scorched, were preceded by a faint whistling noise and a loud whump - not to be confused with drag'n'drop, which involves a quiet click of a mouse. Sadly the flying postal service was sabotaged many years ago by a man named George.
2006-07-02: lock-schlep, n: to follow everyone else in trudging along with something heavy. Presumably this is like a rat race, but slower.
2006-07-10: sintax, n: the government will collect 20% of your sin for their own use. Hence "sintax error", an underpayment in the sintax. Overpayment is not considered an error, they like overpayment.

Finding, when drunk	Finding body parts is best done by remembering their normal position. Remembering anything when you're drunk can be tricky, as can keeping body parts in "normal" states. Arses and elbows are no exception, do not be alarmed if you have trouble.

Differences
Property	Arse	Elbow	Notes
Finding	Sit and think for a while.	Commonly found unexpectedly by impact with hard corners.
Finding it with both hands	The easiest way to do it.	Considered impossible.
Sticking out of car window	Owner finds it funny but looks like a lout.	Owner thinks it's cool. Can cause nerve damage.	Impact with passing objects likely to hurt, either way.
Sharp and bony	May cause discomfort when sitting in someone's lap.	Handy for getting to the front of queues.
Rounded and flabby	May indicate a slightly overweight owner.	May indicate a significantly overweight owner.
Rubbing eyes with	Surely not?!	Considered permissible and healthy.	Many people consider both activities impossible.
Hard work	Work your arse off.	Apply some elbow grease.	Confusing these two could be messy.

2007-04-28: Inflationary language + one-to-one protocol = two-three-two protocol (RS 232 connects one DTE to a DCE). Coincidence?
Bokken biscuit assortment: These biscuits aren't perfect but they come in 1.3kg boxes. This is wonderful for people who like biscuits, but it is a double edged sword - it's not healthy to eat a lot of biscuits. (I know, it's wrong. To the extent a bokken has an edge at all, it only has one edge.)
2007-05-03: Jargledegook, n: jargon from another profession.
